As one of the founding partners of Zdonek & Wolowicz Accountancy Corporation, Steve’s goal has been to interpret, explain, and offer clients insight so that they may make informed decisions regarding business transactions.
After gaining experience at a national accounting firm, he became the senior accounting partner in a small international firm. In 1988, he merged his practice with Hank Zdonek. Both Hank and Steve viewed financial statements as a tool to use in making sound business decisions.
From the beginning, community service has been one of the firm’s basic tenets. Steve and Hank put this into play to such an extent that they were both recognized by the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce as among the community’s most influential people.
In addition, Steve is currently a City Councilman of Rancho Palos Verdes and is a boardmember of

the South Bay Police & Fire Memorial Foundationand the South Bay YMCA, Torrance.
Steve is also past president of the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce, past chairman and founder of the Joint Chamber and City of Torrance Economic Development Task Force, past president of the Rotary Club of Del Amo, past chairman and founder of the Torrance Small Business Council, past Treasurer of the Los Angeles Harbor College Foundation, past Treasurer of the South Bay Science Foundation, and former Board Memeber of The Torrance Memorial Medical Center Foundation.
Steve received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from California State University, Northridge. He lives with his wife in Rancho Palos Verdes, where they raised their three children.
