Sergio Minassi brings an international flair from both Armenia and Iran to his work at Zdonek & Wolowicz, where he helps a wide variety of businesses to meet their financial goals.
With 27 years of experience, Sergio specializes in general accounting in the areas of audits, reviews, compilations and tax work for small to mid-sized companies. Many of his clients are in the manufacturing, distribution, real estate, or medical field. His goal is to help his clients improve their bottom line by tracking their ongoing financial data, and by applying the latest accounting techniques and programs. He joined the firm in 1990, leaving briefly to serve as a chief financial officer in the automotive industry.
While he is of Armenian descent, Sergio’s formal education was conducted in his home country of Iran prior to coming to the United States 20 years ago. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from California State University, Dominguez Hills and is a Business Valuation Analyst.

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of CPAs and the National Association of Certified Business Analysts.
Sergio is currently serving as president of the Torrance/Lomita Airport Rotary and is involved with the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce, where he serves as their accountant. He is a proud member of Leadership Torrance, Class of 1999, where he participated in community services and fund-raising programs for South Bay youth activities. He has also served on the Board of Directors for the Torrance / Lomita / Carson Private Industry Council and the Advisory Board of the School of Management at California State Dominguez Hills.
Sergio is married and has two children. His family makes their home in the South Bay, where he enjoys soccer, NBA basketball, and hockey.
